I threw in the picture of Matthew just to be fair. Not the greatest shot but that boy hates having his picture taken. The Sam ones are cute and somewhat the look I am shooting for, and the leaves were just pretty.

Awesome ones of Sam!! I just read that while you are usually supposed to get down on kid level to take portraits, the one exception is the shot you got, of him looking up at you like that. It is awesome for getting the eyes the way you want them. Those definitely look like the ones I am seeing on all the award winning photographer blogs, put those on canvas, baby!!
